Description

Disney Fairies fans, please refer to "Fairies and the Quest for Neverland", page 212.

I file this picture in "drew it because it had to be drawn".

Gail Carson Levine can really bring the inner 5-year-out out of anyone in my opinion. With me, it's not too difficult in the first place.

Anywho, this sure as heck ended a lot better than it could have. After the end of "Fairy Haven and the Quest for the Wand, I was worried Tink would pull Akane's Hammer on the poor sap. Now, everything's out in the open, Tink's putting up with his advances (and just maaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe responding).

You consider the timeline in the Disney Fairies EU. Terence has held that crush a good 100+ years. That's dedication, people. Yup, I'm a sucker for stuff like that. I eat this stuff up.

No, they didn't actually have their arms locked anywhere in the book. This drawing is merely a tribute to the pair. Tinker Bell has a tiny hint of "eye-roll" in her expression, but is enjoying the attention. Prilla offers her own means of commentary. :)

In terms of the character designs... Tinker Bell wasn't hard. She doesn't change too much in any of her incarnations, so she was cake. Terence was a tricky one, as he has 3 different character designs... one of which is a combo-platter of the other two. I went with the CG one since it's the more "recognizable" one these days. No other reason. I do kinda miss his "Link outfit" in the David Christiana version though. And Prilla is just Prilla.

Maybe I'll draw Rani next... I've been wanting to do some fanart for this stuff for a long time.
